Vanzy is a technology platform that connects customers who need moving and delivery services ("Customers") with independent self-employed van operators ("Drivers"). Vanzy is operated by Mastery Labs, a company registered in England and Wales.
Vanzy is not a transport company. We provide the technology platform and payment processing only. The contract for the moving service is between the Customer and the Driver directly.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Vanzy. By using our platform you confirm that you are 18 or over and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
When you confirm a booking, your payment method is authorised but not charged until your job is completed. Payment is captured automatically upon job completion. All prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Prices are estimates based on the information you provide. Additional charges may apply if the job takes longer than estimated due to factors outside the driver's control (e.g. more items than declared, access difficulties).
You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 1 hour before the scheduled collection time. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the estimated job value.
If a driver cancels, you will receive a full refund and we will attempt to find you an alternative driver.
All Vanzy drivers are independent self-employed contractors. They are required to hold a valid UK driving licence, Goods in Transit insurance, and Public Liability insurance. Vanzy verifies these documents at the point of onboarding.
Drivers are responsible for the safe handling and transport of your items. In the event of damage, the driver's Goods in Transit insurance is the primary recourse.
Vanzy's liability is limited to the value of the booking fee paid. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by the driver or circumstances outside our control. We strongly recommend you take out separate contents insurance for high-value items.
The following items may not be transported using Vanzy: hazardous materials, illegal substances, firearms or weapons, live animals, and items requiring specialist transportation. Drivers reserve the right to refuse transport of any item they deem unsafe or inappropriate.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law including UK GDPR.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
